What holds us together…
Stanley Greenberg is a photographer based out of New York who documents the inner-workings and infrastructure of the city. He shoots in large format black and white, and he’s taken pictures in some very exclusive sites with special permission from the state government. His pictures are very visually striking, and some of them are taken under such dark conditions that his exposures are up to 3 hours each.
Greenberg has published three really interesting books: Invisible New York: The Hidden Infrastructure of the City (Creating the North American Landscape), Architecture Under Construction, and Waterworks: A Photographic Journey through New York’s Hidden Water System.
